This place offers an eclectic range of small plates under headings like 'this', 'that' and 'the other'. The braised baby back ribs come along with a smoky-n-spicy chipotle-molasses barbeque sauce. (Howl Hollywood) Howl at The Moon was founded in 1990 with the concept of a bar centered around dueling pianos. The stage has two baby grand pianos that are played by the best regional talent available. The show features two pianists ("ringmasters") at a time that play for an hour, then are joined by two more pianists for a couple "four-way" songs. The new pianists then take over for the next hour and the cycle of sing-along fun begins again. They also feature "showtime" that includes all Howl employees and patrons in choreographed routines to well-known songs and jingles.
Of all the movies that have ever been shown on the big screen, there are few that would easily translate into a theme restaurant. The restaurant takes its name from the well-repeated scene where Forest's friend Bubba gives a litany of possible dishes you can create with shrimp. Though the restaurant may not serve all of the 30 plus varieties, it makes up for it by serving succulent dishes like the authentic New Orleans shrimp or the fried-fish-stuffed sandwich. Along with the grub they also have a wide array of specialty mixed drinks, like the Medal Margarita or the cuervo gold based delta sunset. Head down to Bubba Gump Shrimp Company for some authentic southern seafood served with relevant kitsch. Open everyday from 11am onwards.
